A cramped galley layout kept this family boxed out of their own home. Speed without shortcuts — that's the standard for every kitchen renovation we deliver near Lake Lotawana, MO.
Heavy cherry cabinets crowded the window and swallowed the light. The remodel took light greige cabinetry to the ceiling, enlarged the window over a new apron sink, and finished with handmade-look tile and warm under-cabinet LEDs. We interviewed three kitchen remodeling contractors in Lake Lotawana before choosing Rise Up Renovations, and the difference was obvious from day one. Nic walked us through a detailed timeline at the first consultation and the crew hit every single date on it. Our new island and quartz counters are stunning, and they swept and covered the workspace every evening.

Our lake house kitchen was stuck in 1998 — honey oak everywhere and a layout that made no sense. Rise Up Renovations opened up the wall to the dining room and now the whole main floor breathes. They finished the entire kitchen remodel in weeks, not months, and Nic texted us updates almost daily. We never once wondered what was happening in our own home.

I put off my kitchen renovation for years because of the horror stories friends told me. Nic changed my mind in one meeting. The crew protected my floors, contained the dust with plastic barriers, and left my house cleaner than some cleaning services would. The cabinet installation is flawless — every door and drawer lines up perfectly.

As a kitchen remodeler, Rise Up Renovations does what almost nobody in this industry does: they show up when they say they will. We had one small punch-list item on the backsplash after the walkthrough, and they came back within 48 hours and made it right at no charge. That guarantee isn't fine print — they actually honor it.

With three kids and two full-time jobs, we could not live in a construction zone for six months. Nic built the schedule around our family's routine and we had a fully functional, gorgeous new kitchen in under five weeks. The two-tone cabinets and the teal island get compliments from everyone who walks in. Worth every penny.

We wanted a true kitchen and bath specialist, not a generalist juggling ten trades, and that's exactly what Rise Up Renovations is. The craftsmanship on our waterfall island edge is the kind of detail you only get from people who do kitchens all day, every day. Licensed, on schedule, and detail-obsessed — our Lake Lotawana kitchen remodel exceeded the design renderings.

Nic sat with me at the first appointment and actually listened to how I use my kitchen before suggesting a single thing. No pressure, no upselling — just smart recommendations. The finished kitchen is beautiful, but honestly, the communication was the most impressive part. I always knew what was happening the next day and when materials would arrive.

The quality of the finish work is what sold me on recommending Rise Up Renovations - Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling to my sister. Perfect grout lines, mitered quartz seams you can barely find, and under-cabinet lighting that makes the whole kitchen glow. Premium work without the premium attitude — the crew was friendly, courteous, and cleaned up every single day.

It depends on scope — a cabinet, countertop, and backsplash refresh moves faster than a full layout change with wall removal. What stays constant is how we run it: you get a written project timeline before demo day, milestone updates as we work, and a crew that shows up when we say we will. We build efficient schedules because busy Lake Lotawana families need their kitchens back — speed without shortcuts is one of the three pillars we're known for.
Yes — and this is where we separate ourselves from other kitchen remodeling contractors in the Lake Lotawana area. We protect your floors and walkways, contain the dust, and sweep the jobsite before we leave every single day. Your daily life keeps running while we work. You get a defined scope, a timeline we build and hold to, and proactive communication at every milestone. Read our reviews: local homeowners consistently say the same thing — we did exactly what we said we'd do, when we said we'd do it.
Every kitchen is different, so we don't quote from a price sheet. During your consultation, we walk your space, talk through how your family actually uses the kitchen, and build a clear proposal with a defined scope and investment range — no surprise costs, and we say so in writing. Whether it's a carefully budgeted update or a high-end transformation with premium finishes, you'll know exactly what you're getting before we start.
